Renaissance St Louis PDF Print E-mail

Renaissance St Louis provides education experiences of art, science, engineering and theater in historical settings. Children and adults gain a unique understanding of these topics by witnessing their development in the history of mankind, whether it be the Renaissance period or the Age of Discovery.

The education philosophy of the organization is that we learn in a simliar pattern as principals have been developed through history; beginning with basic definitions and building upon each previous step. This includes both creative and critical thinking, the basis for both art and science.

Education is always enhanced by enjoyment. Our organization strives to create fun opportunities to learn.

Our largest event is the Greater St Louis Renaissance Faire, which is an annual celebration and fundraiser for our organization. Hundreds of costumed volunteers entertain and educate crowds of people each year at our Renaissance Village. We also produce the St Louis Pirate Festival in Septmeber

Our organization also participates in a number of regional events, provides scholarships and has travelling exhibits to reach an ever larger audience.

Renaissance St Louis is a 501(c)3 charitable education corporation. Donations are tax-deductable in accordance with IRS regulations.
